Here's what's happening at York-Seaway!
- The large Bullard VTL retrofit to CNC is complete for 2 machines. The smaller machine has a 76" table and the large machine has a 124" table. Both machines are operational and hold size very well. We can quote roughing and finishing work and the lead times are quick turnaround as we currently have open capacity for small or large lot sizes.
- We are constructing a very Large Paint Booth with a heated make up air system. The booth measures 50 ft x 50 ft to be able to handle large fabrications, assemblies, or machined items. We have experienced industrial painters on staff that are currently applying epoxy, chemical coatings, urethane products in prime and high quality finishes. This booth will be fully operational by April 1, 2009.
- Another large project that will be done by mid year is a Large Blast Room for metal preparation. The blast room measures 50 ft x 50 ft. We will be offering blast processes that meet SSPC standards using a variety of blasting media. The blast room will be completed by June.
- We purchased and installed 2 new Fadal VMC's; one unit is a 3016 and one unit is a 6030.
- Our new engine lathe was delivered in February. This machine is much larger that our current unit. It has the capability to turn 49" diameter over the bed and 34" over the slide with center width of 315". We are booking orders now for large diameter shafts, up to 12,000# work pieces. Please contact us if you would like a quote.
- We have added a clean room assembly area to build Industrial Control Systems. Please Click Here to visit the web page that highlights our capabilities.
